Grooming and Gambling

We didn't do much of interest today. Had a sleep in and made use of modern Bangkok to restock supplies. Later in the afternoon found us back at the hotel swimming pool, but this time we remembered the beer. We watched as a huge thunder storm swirled around central Bangkok, only dropping a little bit of rain on us but providing lots of thunder and lightning. Being Bangkok, it was much cooler to stay in the pool and drink our beers. When we got to be prunes, we had a quick shower and walked around a bit. We both had our hair highlighted again, and Nige got his hair cut. While he waited for Kel to finish, he played cards with the hairdressing staff. Much to the entertainment of them, he won 25 baht--just under a dollar, but it paid for the pad thai we had for lunch. We had our last Thai dinner at a street restaurant, which was very delicious, then headed to bed around 11:00.
